The Opportunity We're expanding and looking for a skilled Finance Officer who's ready to grow with us. This newly created role blends core finance responsibilities with light recruitment administration, giving you variety in your day and the chance to shape new processes in a supportive, people-focused team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Payroll processing and reconciliation, including award interpretation (essential)
  • Bank reconciliations, reporting, and month-end support
  • Liaising with our external accountant on compliance and reporting
  • Implementing and improving finance processes to boost efficiency
  • Recruitment admin support, including:
  • Creating and updating templates and documents
  • Formatting resumes for consistency
  • Updating and maintaining the recruitment system
  • General admin support

What You'll Bring

  • Award interpretation experience (must-have)
  • Strong experience with Xero (essential)
  • Hands-on accounts payable, receivable, and payroll experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in building and improving processes
  • Organised, reliable, and adaptable
