About The Role

Join as a Finance Officer and play a pivotal role supporting the group with accounts payable, payroll assistance, and general administrative duties. This varied role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional eager to expand their experience in a dynamic real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Fortnightly/monthly payroll processing and maintaining employee records

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements.
  • Bank reconciliations

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly Activity Statements, Payroll Tax and superannuation
  • Assist with EOFY processes, including reconciliations and preparation for external accountants.

Financial Administration

  • Maintain accurate financial records for each office and the group.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

General Support

  • Respond to finance and payroll related queries
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting as required

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software (Xero preferred).
  • Understanding of payroll, BAS, and GST.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microkeeper (Payroll), Weel (Accounts Payable) (advantage but not essential)
