We are looking for our next superstar Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant, family run hospitality business based in coastal Western Australia. Hillarys Beach Club is our flagship venue with a great atmosphere and stunning coastal views

As Restaurant Manager at Hillarys Beach Club, you are responsible for leading the front-of-house team and ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service throughout the venue. Your role is to support daily restaurant operations, lead by example, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and maintain a well-organised and motivated team. Working closely with the General Manager, kitchen, and bar teams, you help ensure our service standards are consistently high and the atmosphere is welcoming for all guests.

Duties Include:

  1. Team Leadership & Staff Coordination

  2. Lead the front-of-house team during service, providing guidance, support, and hands-on assistance.

  3. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of FOH staff.
  4. Create and manage rosters to ensure appropriate coverage for service and events.
  5. Run pre-shift briefings to align the team and set daily goals.

  6. Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and support skill development.

  7. Customer Service Excellence

  8. Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and attentive service throughout their visit.

  9. Address and resolve customer complaints calmly and professionally.
  10. Promote a strong service culture and encourage team members to go above and beyond.

  11. Monitor guest feedback and work with the General Manager to implement improvements.

  12. Operational Support

  13. Oversee daily front-of-house setup, section allocation, and shift close-down procedures.

  14. Ensure venue cleanliness, presentation, and service areas meet company standards at all times.
  15. Liaise with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate efficient service flow.
  16. Monitor wait times, table turnover, and service pacing to maintain a smooth operation.
  17. Assist with menu creation

  18. Assist and help facilitate functions and events

  19. Stock & Equipment Management

  20. Assist with ordering and stock control of front-of-house supplies.

  21. Ensure all FOH equipment is maintained and report any maintenance issues.

  22. Minimise waste and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  23. Safety, Compliance & Standards

  24. Ensure staff are following all relevant food safety, RSA, and hygiene procedures.

  25. Support the General Manager with incident reports, compliance checks, and operational audits.
  26. Promote a safe working environment and report any hazards or breaches.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and events venue. You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays depending on operational needs. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.

You will be expected to work in close coordination with other team members to maintain an efficient and welcoming atmosphere for the high-energy, beachside hospitality venue known for its great food, drinks, and service.

You will be working alongside a passionate team and contributing directly to the venue's success and guest experience.
