The Role:
ARB is seeking a creative and technically skilled
Studio Designer
to join our Product Development team at our Kilsyth facility. With a background in Product or Industrial Design, the ideal candidate will bring at least
5 years of experience
in design and development, with strong capability in both aesthetic design and technical detailing. Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks, and experience using
KeyShot
for high-quality product visualisations, are essential. This role plays a critical part in turning design concepts into innovative and manufacturable 4x4 accessories that align with ARB's high standards.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Industrial Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to develop concept designs and carry them through to production-ready outcomes.
- Create and refine high-quality 3D CAD models and detailed visual presentations to communicate design intent.
- Use
 KeyShot
 to produce photorealistic renderings and animations for internal reviews, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Translate design briefs into functional, aesthetic, and manufacturable solutions.
- Support and contribute to ideation, form development, and usability studies.
- Prepare technical drawings, concept layouts, and visual design assets to support prototyping and production.
- Development of A-class Surface models and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent during engineering and manufacturing phases.
About you:
Education & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience
 in a design studio or product development environment, preferably within automotive or related industries.
Design & Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks for 3D CAD modelling and surface development.
- Advanced proficiency in
 KeyShot
 for rendering and animation.
- Skilled in visual storytelling through sketches, CAD, and high-quality imagery.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacture (DFM), materials, and production processes including plastics, sheet metal, and castings.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques and design validation tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong eye for form, proportion, and visual balance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex design projects and meet deadlines.
- Highly detail-oriented with a practical and hands-on approach.
