About the role
Join ACMI as our Media Design Studio Manager and lead our video and graphic design team, managing projects and outputs across a range of deliverables. The role will establish the studio bringing together existing internal teams to deliver high quality video, design and digital outputs, fostering a workplace culture of collaboration, experimentation and bold ideas. This is a new full-time ongoing role reporting to the Executive Director of Experience & Engagement.
What you'll bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in managing creative studios within an agency, film, advertising or arts environment, represented by a strong portfolio of work.
- Expertise leading and mentoring a team of designers and other creative professionals, to produce high-quality work providing guidance, support, and feedback.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and negotiate for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Significant project management experience with the ability to flexibly and pro-actively problem-solve and prioritise competing demands.
- Expertise in production processes across a broad spectrum of media, from print collateral, to publications, video and digital outputs.
