Internal Salesperson – Pathway to Customer Account Manager

We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Internal Salesperson to join our thriving team This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's eager to learn, develop their skills, and progress into a Customer Account Manager role.  This is a Monday to Friday, Fulltime role based in Rockingham.

About the role:

  • Working with, and supporting a Customer Account Manager with managing an existing client portfolio
  • Liaising with your customers regarding sales enquires, orders and quotation follow ups
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external customers, growing the business network
  • Working alongside other departments in our business to ensure the highest customer satisfaction is delivered
  • Maintaining high accuracy in all work produced, including on our database system
  • Learning about our products and services becoming a Subject Matter Expert
  • Shadowing the Customer Account Manager gaining experience towards a future in this position

To be successful you will need:

  • A genuine interest in sales and a desire to grow
  • Self-motivated, organised, and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
  • Experience in sales, or building industry is a plus
  • Eager to learn and take on more responsibilities over time
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Can work with targets and Key Performance Indicator structures

Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and been operating for over 30 years.  We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders in the Western Australian building market - supplying quality timber, frames, trusses along with a variety of other products.
