APS 6 Senior Program Officer

The Role

Do you have federal government experince in program management? Do you have strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities?  

Areyou based in Canberra and available to start immediately?

Duties:

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and/or programs including time management and organisational skills; and the ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand or gain the ability to understand, support and communicate the reasons for decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage high-level stakeholders, build collaborative relationships and manage staff.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in word processing, spreadsheets and databases, and the ability to learn ICT systems and support colleagues in their use.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills, effectively sharing clear and accurate information.
