The Role

We're looking for a UX/UI Web Designer to join us on a freelance basis and support upcoming client projects.

You'll take brand direction and strategic notes from our Creative Director, then translate them into intuitive Figma layouts that balance strong visual design with user-focused flow. Whether that's guiding someone toward a booking, exploring services, or making a purchase.

You won't need to develop the sites, but experience designing for Shopify or Squarespace will help you make smart, realistic design decisions.

This role will start with 5–10 hours per week and has strong potential to grow alongside the studio.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing website wireframes and full-page layouts (desktop + mobile)
  • Translating brand identity into strong visual hierarchy and clean UI
  • Applying UX principles that support conversion and clarity
  • Preparing organised, developer-friendly Figma files
  • Supporting layout and visual consistency across project deliverables
  • Occasionally helping with smaller visual tasks (e.g., landing pages, icons)

What We're Looking For

  • 1–4 years experience in digital, web, or product design (freelance or agency)
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (auto layout, components, design systems)
  • Understanding of responsive UX and modern interface best practices
  • A refined visual eye. Especially with typography and spacing
  • Experience working with or designing for Shopify or Squarespace
  • Bonus: familiarity with eCommerce flows or creative industry brands

Portfolio must include at least two website design examples in Figma.
