Within Technology Services, our five dynamic work units: Data, Architecture & Integration; Cyber Resilience; Digital Delivery & Innovation; Technology Platforms; and Operations & Services - collaborate to deliver cutting-edge solutions and high-impact projects across the University.

As our valued Business Process Engineer within Technology Services you will sit in the Digital Delivery and Innovation team.

You will make an impact by:

  • Mapping and analysing processes in collaboration with cross functional teams to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, user experience, and service delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to translate complex business and technology needs into practical, quality-driven, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Designing and leading future-state workflows and process improvements that deliver tangible operational and digital transformation outcomes.
  • Supporting projects and innovation initiatives to deliver, including automation and emerging AI applications, while contributing to team-based delivery and continuous improvement.

What you will bring

You're a problem-solver who thrives on connecting people, process and technology. With a strong understanding of process improvement and user experience, you excel at turning complexity into clarity – and delivering real, measurable impact.

To succeed in this role, you will also need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field with 6+ years process improvement experience
  • Proven ability in process analysis, mapping, and optimisation across enterprise systems, with a delivery focus.
  • Experience designing or configuring workflows in platforms such as TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, or Blackboard.
  • Strong UX/UI understanding and the ability to translate user needs into effective, intuitive solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
