Employment Status: Full-Time, open to part-time for the right candidate
Employment Type: 12 month contract with the possibility of extension.
Above award conditions including: 12.5% superannuation, 6 weeks' annual leave (pro rata)

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for an exciting opportunity to work at the Cleaning Accountability Framework Inc (CAF) as a marketing and communications officer or manager depending on skills and experience.
About CAF
CAF is an independent not-for-profit organisation that aims to end the exploitation of vulnerable workers and to promote human rights and responsible business practices in the property services industry.
CAF works with the union, government, academia, and the property services industry to protect and advance the rights of cleaners in Australia, and to address modern slavery risk in supply chains. Specifically, CAF has developed and promotes an industry-leading Standard that is used to assess property assets and through the CAF Certification Scheme.
The CAF Certification Scheme provides a credible framework to measure social compliance within the cleaning industry. Investors, property owners, building managers, cleaning contractors and tenants benefit from improved procurement processes and reduced risks, while cleaners are assured of fair pay and decent working conditions.
Duties
Communications and graphic design
- Development and implementation of campaign strategies and action plans endorsed by the board
- Development of persuasive communications including email marketing; media statements and outreach, and social media.
- Use research to support campaign plans and advocacy efforts.
- Request, organise and collate stakeholder-supplied content for promotional purposes.
- Graphic design of collateral including social media tiles, and documents.
- Development and maintenance of communication resources (e.g. logos, style guides and templates).
Digital Media
- Basic management of WordPress site and systematic review of website content and design.
- Basic analytics and reporting of digital marketing channels and platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Proactively liaise with leaders and staff to keep all stakeholders informed and committed to action plans.
- Build relationships and alliances with labour rights organisations, community and industry stakeholders, and relevant service providers.

- Commitment to the protection of labour rights and social justice.
Selection criteria
- Ability to develop and implement growth strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing website content, media releases or case studies, and strong proofing and editing skills.
- Experience producing engaging and persuasive communications and materials.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a communications strategy
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of people, such as migrant workers through to property industry stakeholders, to achieve collaborative outcomes.
- Experience in digital campaigning and creating online content across multiple platforms.
Experience and Tools
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Degree in marketing, communications or similar, or equivalent experience.
- Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in community organising, or social justice activities.
- Experience in the development of branding and messaging.
