Head of Credit
to join their leadership team and drive the next stage of growth.

The Role

As
Head of Credit
, you will play a pivotal role in shaping credit strategy, frameworks, and decisioning. Reporting directly into the executive team, you'll lead a high-performing function responsible for managing credit risk across multiple products, while balancing commercial outcomes and risk appetite.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining credit risk frameworks, policies, and governance structures.
  • Leading credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and credit decisioning processes.
  • Partnering with product, risk, and commercial teams to support growth while managing risk.
  • Providing strategic leadership, mentorship, and oversight of the credit team.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, funders, and the Board.

About You

We are looking for a proven credit leader with:

  • Extensive experience in commercial/SME lending, credit risk, or corporate finance.
  • Strong technical expertise in credit frameworks, risk analysis, and portfolio management.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk and growth.
  • Leadership capability, with experience developing and scaling credit teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
