What you will do in the role

Summary

• This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end processes associated with all aspects of warehousing. 

Primary

• This role requires you to be "On Call" outside of normal business hours. One week on, one week off rotating roster.
• All aspects of warehouse receiving and dispatching of goods
• Picking, packing, and processing orders
• RF scanning
• Palletising of freight
• General warehouse duties
• Receiving stock, checking correct items and quantities
• Quarantining of shortages or damages
• Receipting stock into the SAP system and Dispatch deliveries out to client
• Reverse Logistics - Processing returns and booking couriers to collect goods
• Ensure stock gets put away in correct bin locations provided in warehouse
• Action all email requests in a timely and professional manner
• Provide support to the wider logistics team on all escalations and requests
• Coordinate stock counts across all client locations within your local environment
• Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and in accordance with client set SLA's
• Maintain an attitude that inspires self-improvement and success within the team
• Be able to work well in a small team environment

What you will need to succeed in the role

• Heavy lifting is required
• A current forklift licence is required
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to work well in a team as well as autonomously
• Demonstrated intermediate level of communication skills - including written, verbal (including telephone)
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must always maintain a neat and tidy appearance
• Provide a high level of customer service to all incoming enquiries received
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High level of initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
• Demonstrates self-confidence and decisiveness
• Basic - Intermediate SAP preferred
• WMS / ERP systems experience preferred
• Current First Aid Certificate preferred
