Role Description/Criteria
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Croydon is seeking a qualified and experienced finance manager to join our talented administration team. The position will be a 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) position, commencing 27 January 2026. The successful candidate can negotiate to commence in 2025 so as to have a seamless transition to the role in 2026.

The Finance Manager will represent Sacred Heart Primary School in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner and must be able to work well in a team and interact effectively with both children and adults, showing discretion and respecting confidentiality. The Finance Manager's duties include processing in a computerised administrative system (ICON-eSIS & eFIN) for student records; purchase orders, banking, personnel records, administrative services and a component of front reception duties This position will report to the Principal.
Previous high performing experience in a MACS Primary School an advantage. Further details about the role are included in the attached role description.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate:
- a strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
- the ability to develop relationships with parents, staff and students
- the ability to work as a team
- the ability to work with our MACS appointed Finance Business Partner
- an ability to use digital technologies to deliver work outcomes across various platforms
The successful candidates:
- Have finance and/or admin qualifications an advantage
- Have finance experience required in or outside the education/not for profit sector
- Require a clear current National Police Check.
