We are looking for an experienced
Project Manager (Fire Safety Technical Specialist)
for one of the government organisations in Sydney.

Required Skills

  • Experience in managing and overseeing Specialised Fire Safety Maintenance program and contract management and providing expert fire safety advice.
  • Experience in performance management on fire safety maintenance across the portfolio.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with Housing NSW's fire safety standards and applicable legislative requirements.
  • Ability to conveying highly technical information to other technical experts, and non-technical staff and managers in plain English and adapting communication style to accommodate a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to establishing and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes given the complexity that can exist in such partnerships.
  • Ability to ensuring business practices are in line with current industry standards, Housing NSW policy and that procedures reflect best practice.
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry changes and challenges, given the need to frequently monitor the legislative and regulatory environment and keep open lines of communication with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to involve management of contract performance, routine servicing, monitoring, reporting, and budgeting of specialised fire safety maintenance across Housing Portfolio properties.
  • Ability to ensuring compliance with legislation and maintaining high-quality standards through risk-based quality assurance.
