About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to take ownership of front-of-house operations and lead our opening team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a project from the ground up, with the chance to shape the guest journey and culture of the venue.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sommelier to ensure alignment across food, wine, and service.
  • Manage rosters, wage costs, and operational budgets.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, safety, and operational standards.
  • Build lasting guest relationships and drive a culture of excellence.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant Venue Manager in premium dining.
  • A confident leader with strong communication and people management skills.
  • Passionate about food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially savvy.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work the floor and set the tone for service.
