Position: Sales Manager (Full-Time, 38 hours per week)
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 base + performance bonus
About Us
Joshua Tiles is a leading supplier of premium tiles, natural stone, and flooring solutions to builders, contractors, architects, and wholesale clients across Australia. We have successfully serviced both local and international trade customers, with a strong client base in the Mandarin-speaking community. We are seeking an experienced professional who can manage B2B operations and support both English and Mandarin-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients including builders, developers, contractors, and architects.
- Promote and sell the company's tile, stone, and building material products to wholesale and trade clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
- Assess customer needs, provide tailored product solutions, and deliver technical guidance.
- Negotiate sales contracts, prepare quotations, and oversee order processing and delivery.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting regularly to management.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales and business expenses.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
- Support internal staff with bilingual communication when dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within tiles, building materials, or related industrial products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential to service and grow our Mandarin-speaking client base.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior sales staff will be highly regarded.
