Licensed Capacity: 124 places
Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Belmont. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a vibrant and supportive centre.
As a Lead Educator, you will:
- Lead your room team and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs
- Mentor and support educators to provide high-quality care and learning outcomes
- Ensure compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Build strong and positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture
What You'll Need
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Lead Educator
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and child development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- Current VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
