Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Jackson Teece Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are looking for an experience Architect or Senior Technician, preferably registered, to support the documentation of several large projects within our Brisbane team. You will be working directly with Senior Architects and the Director to deliver several exciting projects.

The role is responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and architectural documentation for a range of typologies including, Residential, Senior Living, Mixed-Use, Commercial and others. This role supports the team by translating conceptual designs into accurate, detailed construction documents, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and project specifications.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support the project leader though design development, tender documentation, construction documentation and project delivery
  2. Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details using Revit
  3. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from team members, the client, or regulatory authorities
  4. Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and documentation practices
  5. Strong understand NCC and relevant Standards
  6. Work with external consultants to incorporate their reports into our documentation
  7. Contribute to client meetings, workshops
  8. Ability to multi-task & adhere to agreed timelines
  9. Prepare accurate documentation & presentations to communicate designs
  10. Be a problem solver, able to absorb information and communicate solutions
  11. Be a flexible team member and keen to learn

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  1. 5 – 7 years' post grad experience
  2. Proficiency in Revit (Expert user)
  3. Construction experience, Site experience would be advantageous
  4. A thorough understanding of building composition and construction
  5. Ability to use Adobe Suite
  6. Fluency in the English language, in both verbal and written communication
  7. Full Working Rights in Australia
  8. Able to work from the office in Brisbane CBD
