Job Description - JDE HR Payroll Consultant in Sydney & PAN Australia.
About the role:
• Do you have existing experience or want to enhance your career as a technical consultant to
achieve the following:
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in JDE Packages
• At least 5 + years of exposure HR, Benefits and Payroll process of NZ
• NZ Payroll and wage calculation understanding and experience
• Hands on experience of life cycle implementation of JDE HR, Payroll, Vertex, EDI and
interfaces.
• Good knowledge of Month end and year end processing
• Understanding of Salary slip processing for NZ region.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data reporting and analysis
• Application Integration Development, Maintenance and Support services
• Experience on Application maintenance ITIL processes
• Knowledge of Agile development is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Troubleshooting issues in existing implemented solutions. Raise issues/escalate issues
whenever required.
• Design and develop solutions and co-ordinate with team members.
• Conduct meetings with businesses to capture new requirements/change requests.
• Prepare and contribute to build knowledge areas
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with existing BAU resources (both IT and business) for existing issues
• Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and
interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release
features.
• Operate in an Agile Product Model and DevOps principles.
• Development, maintenance and management of products and solutions, including the
identification of gaps, risks, and mitigation approaches.
• Engage with internal functions and external bodies to understand the wider ecosystem that
impacts Product area.
• Ensure solutions align agreed product roadmap and feature requirements.
• Support service delivery and lifecycle management, to optimize product portfolio and
ensure that systems continue to operate and evolve in line with the Product Roadmap,
wider Tech environment and key standards.
• Engage with key stakeholders and end users to provide best possible User Experience (UX)
and ensure business outcomes are achieved.
• Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
• Interact on a professional basis with internal and external staff in a personable manner.
• Communicate progress, or impediments to progress, to users and managers.
• Review technical documents and test plans, test results and coordinate implementation
activities with end-users.
