The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in payroll software, especially Sage/Micropay/Meridian, Chris21 or similar. You will provide clients with advice and administrative support where needed. The role will encompass a wide range of tasks including but not limited to providing clients with product application advice.

About the role

Your role will be to provide high level customer service to assist clients to satisfy their business needs through the use of our software. Each day will be different and you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and engage with and meet different people. Whilst this is not a strictly HR position, you will have the opportunity to use HR knowledge in a dynamic and people-focused way.

In this position you will be responsible for implementing and supporting our range of products through the interpretation of client needs and conditions of employment. You will need to be open minded, have an adaptive approach to client's needs and knowledge of payroll/HR would be a distinct advantage. Some specifics of the role include:

  • Implementation and configuration of payroll and HR platform to satisfy our client requirements
  • Support client go-live, with training and the preparation of handover documentation
  • Engage and build rapport with clients
  • Provide client issue resolutions and impart product knowledge
  • To enhance the client experience through the adoption of new and existing tools, processes and capabilities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the client services team
  • Help develop support strategies to increase client engagement and work closely with internal teams
  • Create and maintain documentation around the team's change processes.
  • Update the client support database

Skills and experience

Ideally, you are someone who has previous experience in the Payroll/HR software environment, preferably with a payroll software provider. Experience with Sage Micropay/Meridian, Chris 21 or similar software would be a significant advantage.

You need to be:

  • Confident, articulate and highly motivated
  • Be confident both on the telephone and in front of people
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly articulate written and oral communication
  • Enjoy building rapport
  • Have the skills to obtain information from clients and accurately convert that information to our system configuration.
  • Focused, hands-on and energetic

Requirements

  • Payroll/HR background preferably with a similar software provider like Sage Micropay/Meridian, Chris 21, Elmo etc

  • Previous experience in implementing payroll systems would be highly desirable but not essential if you have good payroll software knowledge.

Salary commensurate with experience. Full-time permanent role (starting with 3 month probation contract).
