About the role
We are looking for a Full Time Digital & Communications Managers to join the Marketing team at The Boathouse Group's head office located in Manly Pavilion. As the Digital & Communications Manager you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of communications strategy across the group, in line with business objectives. You will also:
- Understand and interpret current business objectives, to create effective communications strategy across all areas of the business;
- Create clear briefs for the Creative team to provide assets for communications strategy;
- Develop, implement and report on communications strategies for internal stakeholders and external partners;
- Oversee all digital channels for the business (including but not limited to websites, social media, email marketing, listings, Google, Meta etc), to ensure content is current, accurate and effective;
- Copywriting for digital and print communications for all areas of the business as required;
- Manage the day to day duties of the Brand & Activations Co-ordinator, to ensure skill development as well as approving all campaign assets and communications before being published.
About you
To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will have at least 5 years experience in a comparable role within a large group, preferably within the hospitality industry where you demonstrated your creativity and strong leadership and people management skills. You will also have:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, or willingness to learn;
- Strong knowledge of digital platforms including Squarespace, Wordpress, Canva, META (Instagram & Facebook), Google, Asana, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Cap Cut, Humanitix.
- Photography and videography skills, or a willingness to learn;
While not a requirement, a tertiary degree or diploma in marketing or communications is highly favourable.
