We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated Accounts & Admin Officer. This diverse and interesting role has become available due to a retirement.

At the Get Smart Promo Group and ), we're all about working hard but having fun along the way. The company has been established for 25 years and to support our continued growth, we need a passionate and talented Accounts Admin person to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable - processing supplier & freight invoices, credit notes and checking statements. Creating monthly supplier payment reports and sending remittances
  • Accounts Receivable - receipting client payments and issuing payment receipts. Preparing debtors analysis, assisting sales team with debt collection and issuing client statements.
  • Processing Client Trading Account applications and Vendor profile documentation
  • Bank statement and credit card statement reconciliations
  • Quarterly BAS
  • Assisting our logistics team with bulk freight data transfers & reconciliations
  • Providing general administrative support to Operations Manager and other team members when required

What we're looking for:

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding of accounting principles and the ability to communicate with management team and external Accounting firm
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in MYOB accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Exemplary organisational and time management skills. a good multi-tasker
  • A good communicator and a real team player who is happy to help others
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
