About Us

The Bald Hills State School P&C Association supports a school of over 600 students and provides essential services to the school community through our business units which include the Tuckshop and the Uniform Shop.

The Bald Hills State School P&C Association is seeking two warm and enthusiastic individuals to join our Uniform Shop and Tuckshop teams in dual-roles.

The hours will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the Tuckshop and Mondays and Wednesdays in the Uniform shop with additional hours available as per operational requirements.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and takes pride in providing great service to parents, children, staff and visitors. This position is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking to ease back into the workforce while working convenient school-based hours.

A positive attitude, teamwork, and friendliness are highly valued in this role, making it a great fit for someone who thrives in a supportive environment.

Conditions of employment will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016.

About you:

  • Neat and professional presentation with strong attention to detail
  • Has a friendly personality with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with the school community.
  • Hold a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain a blue card

These positions offer:

Tuckshop:

  • Assisting the Tuckshop Convenor with food preparation of student orders
  • Assisting the Tuckshop Convenor with over-the-counter sales to students \
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Relevant Food Safety qualifications or be willing to obtain
  • Coffee training to build barista skills

Uniform Shop:

  • Experience in retail and/or customer service is highly regarded
  • Assisting customers with sizing for their child's school uniform needs
  • Computer skills
  • Managing stock and stock deliveries within the school
  • Providing excellent customer service in-store, via email and by phone
