About us

We are a small but busy, family owned Gourmet Butcher Shop located in the Arana Hills Plaza. Looking for a butcher to add to our growing business.

Work with a set 5 day per week roster. Above award rates for the right candidate. $1440 per week plus tax and super.

Qualifications & experience

  • Certificate III Meat Processing
  • 1-2 years of butchering experience required

Tasks & responsibilities

  • cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size
  • process carcasses into primary and secondary cuts
  • pack and store products for display and sale
  • assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage-forming machines, and bandsaws
  • conduct product sales and collect payment
  • retail meat sales experience is essential
  • prepare marinated meats, value-added and ready-to-cook dishes
  • advise customers about alternative cuts, cooking methods, storage requirements and nutritional aspects of meat
  • cleaning of work space and shop
  • deliveries with the refrigerated van for our online store

Must have working rights in Australia. No sponsorships available.

Valid drivers License ideal, but not necessary.
