About the role

McGuire Hotels' is seeking a Casual Bottle Shop Staff to join our Alexandra Hills Hotel team. This casual position will involve providing excellent customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our on-site bottle shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and experience in a similar role.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with product selection and providing recommendations
  • Accurately processing sales transactions and providing outstanding customer service
  • Restocking and maintaining product displays to ensure the bottle shop is well-presented
  • Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and company policies
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with other duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in any retail environment is required
  • An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and staff
  • Responsible and reliable approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • RSA certification (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
  • Basic awareness of craft beer products is required
