We're partnering with an independent creative and media agency to find a
Head of Performance & Digital Media,
a hands-on leader with deep digital expertise who can drive performance, shape future-focused media strategies, and lead a team across paid channels and data-led insights.

The Role

You'll lead the digital media function with a focus on performance channels (search, social, programmatic) while ensuring broader media strategy and creative integration. You'll guide platform execution, build reporting frameworks, and translate insights into strategies that influence creative, media planning, and client growth. You'll also play a key role in futureproofing the agency's media offering through innovation, automation, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of mid-senior digital/performance media specialists
  • Oversee campaign execution across paid digital media channels
  • Build frameworks and dashboards that drive real-time insights and optimisation
  • Deliver strategic media insights that connect performance with business outcomes
  • Collaborate with media planning, strategy, and creative to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients across digital performance and media innovation

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership in digital and performance media (agency or in-house)
  • Experience in senior roles at the Director or Head of level
  • Hands-on expertise across Google Ads, Meta, DV360, GA4, etc.
  • Strong understanding of media planning and integrated campaign delivery
  • Skilled in data consolidation, reporting, attribution and optimisation
  • Ability to translate data into clear client narratives and recommendations
  • Confident advising on AI, automation, and digital media trends
