Role Summary

In this role you will work as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a financial services organisation who's business growth and success is built on incredibly successful Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). This results in the need to knit together infrastructure and systems from the acquired organisation into their existing infrastructure.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Have extensive experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, with the ability to work across multiple domains, particularly in infrastructure and M&A IT integrations.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the PRINCE2 framework and demonstrate the ability to tailor and apply it to project delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Be capable of managing complex, commercially significant projects while maintaining quality and control.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering similar roles successfully.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider delivery team, senior management, and business leaders.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, showing empathy while delivering solutions within budget.
  • Negotiate effectively with suppliers to balance quality, service, and cost.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

Experience delivering projects in the following areas:

  • IT M&A activities, including technology extensions and systems integration
  • Microsoft cloud technologies (M365, Exchange Online, Azure)
  • Email migration and complex email routing environments
  • Application deployment (excluding development)
  • Systems deployment, upgrades, and migrations
  • Security rollouts (e.g. privileged access management, data loss prevention, MFA)
  • Release management experience.
  • Familiarity with international compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.
