We are currently seeking a Night Auditor at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.

A rare and exciting opportunity for a 'night owl' to combine their expertise in Front Office whilst gaining an insight into the processing of our property's revenues.

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact with hotel guests in the evening hours, ensuring the guest experience is positive.

  • Verify accuracy of guest accounts, balancing chargers, and revenues.

  • Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Assist with all other aspects of Front Office Reception during the hours of 11.00pm and 7.30am.

  • Assist with baggage handling, parking of vehicles, room service, and concierge, as required.

Criteria

  • Previous experience in Front Office / Night Audit operations and procedures on a computerised or manual system. Opera preferred.

  • Proven front office experience in a 4-5 star hotel.

  • Accuracy with figures and a keen eye for details.

  • Micros and Food & Beverage knowledge.

  • Quick thinker with excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to understand, be supportive, encourage and be helpful to your fellow colleagues.

  • Current Queensland Class A driver's licence.

All Front Office applicants are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Attainment Certificate, and a current Class A driver's licence.
