About the Role

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper with strong accounting skills to play a key role in keeping our finance operations accurate and efficient across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience in Xero and MYOB, who thrives on managing complex reconciliations and ensuring accounts are accurate, compliant, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities


• High-level bookkeeping and accounting support


• Loan, mortgage, and intercompany account reconciliations


• Bank account reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities


• Accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations


• Month-end close support and ledger maintenance


• Preparation of management reporting packs as required


• Liaison with accountants and external advisors as needed

Requirements


• years' experience in bookkeeping/accounting roles


• Strong skills in Xero and MYOB


• Demonstrated experience with intercompany accounts, loans, mortgages, and complex reconciliations


• BAS Agent registration or CPA/CA qualification (preferred but not essential)


• Ability to work independently, remotely, and deliver on deadlines


• Proactive and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple entities

Engagement Details


• Flexible part-time contract (1–3 days per week, ongoing engagement)


• Remote role – must be Australia-based and familiar with local compliance standards


• Competitive hourly rate or retainer, negotiable depending on experience
