Hello Co. is a fast-growing business that manages multiple apparel and merchandise brands across Australia, including Decohub, our dedicated production and fulfilment hub. We're looking for a highly organised and experienced Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our Canberra team and play a key role in keeping our group running smoothly.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on position that combines bookkeeping with general administration across multiple businesses. Reporting directly to the management team, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting operational administration, and ensuring compliance across the group.
You will be working across multiple Xero files, including Hello Co. and Decohub, while also managing administration tasks that support the smooth operation of the broader group. This is an on-site, full-time role (non-negotiable) - please do not apply if you are not willing to work from our Canberra office.
Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Finance
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple Xero files (Hello Co. and Decohub).
- Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Manage accounts receivable - including chasing overdue payments, issuing statements, following up with clients, and ensuring payments are received on time.
- Ensure client orders are not held up due to outstanding invoices, and that records are updated promptly in the system.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, superannuation, and compliance reporting in collaboration with external accountants.
- Track budgets, expenses, and cash flow across multiple brands.
- Support financial reporting and assist in quarterly and annual reviews.
Administration & Office Support
Provide general office administration support across the Hello Co. group.
- Maintain organised records, contracts, and company documentation.
- Support directors with scheduling, reporting, and communication requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and external partners as needed.
- Assist with operational projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
You will have:
- Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience in Australia (non-negotiable).
- Solid experience with Xero and confidence managing multiple company files.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll, BAS, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.
- A professional, positive, and reliable approach.
