About the role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a key player in our team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of short-term rental properties, onboard new properties, and build meaningful relationships with both property owners and contractors. You'll work closely with team and support them to resolve escalated queries.

You will have the flexibility to work from home one day per week after probation with the remainder spent at our office in North Melbourne or on the road.

You will have the opportunity to make a real impact by driving excellence in property management, ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards and keeping owners and guests satisfied.

We are looking for a positive, confident person who can excel in a varied role that will look after a portfolio of around 70-80 short term rental properties.

You also will be required to drive to the Mornington Peninsula when needed

A look inside the role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard new properties into your portfolio and ensure compliance with local laws (STRA, etc.)

• Build strong relationships with property owners during the onboarding process and beyond

• Oversee daily property management, including guest relations, cleaning, and maintenance

• Monitor cleaning complaints and take appropriate actions for resolution

• Build strong relationships with cleaners and other suppliers

• Act as a key contact for escalated guest queries, resolving issues with professionalism

• Manage property revenue, guest feedback, and reviews to ensure continuous improvement

• Conduct weekly property inspections and liaise with contractors to maintain property standards

• Support after-hours and weekend operations on a rotating roster

• Open houses on an as-needed basis, averaging one Saturday per month.

Requirements:

• Australian driver's license and access to a reliable car

• Real Estate Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to handle conflict and complaints with professionalism

• Completion of a police check

• Experience managing holiday accommodations and platforms such as Airbnb and is beneficial but not required for this position.
