About the role:

Tynan Motors currently has an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Warranty Manager to oversee the management of all warranty work within the group.

This position is based in Kirrawee, with travel to our other sites such as our Mercedes-Benz Dealership & Service Centre in Wollongong. Days/ hours of the position are Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of all warranty work within the service departments in the group and ensure that all warranty claims are completed in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines and warranty GP is maximised.
  • Leading a team of warranty Clerks
  • Manage and resolve all claim corrections and charge backs
  • Conducting audits of warranty and schedules by reviewing all old claims and address any adjustments or write offs
  • Ability to process claims & assist in warranty during periods of staff leave
  • Travel to our 3 locations when required on an ongoing basis
About you:
  • Current or previous experience as a Warranty Manager or higher; in the automotive industry
  • Multi-franchise experience highly regarded
  • You will have a key understanding of dealership processes and warranty
  • Proficient in ERA-net/ERA-Power
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be self sufficient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Proven ability to meet required targets
  • Have a current full unrestricted NSW Drivers License (Class C)
