Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) owns and operates the established Second Fortune Gold Mine and the newly launched Fish mine in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia. We are on the lookout for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our finance team.

The Role

Joining our rapidly expanding finance team in the heart of Subiaco, you'll be responsible for processing the end-to-end payroll for our growing workforce:

  • Process all payroll transactions (new starters, exits, employment condition changes) for 150+ employees.
  • Support the migration of employees from XERO to Pronto payroll system.
  • Support the reset (re-configuration) of the Pronto system, and launch of new system features.
  • Lead data governance in the payroll system.
  • Document processes and decisions around managing payroll.

About you

You will have previous experience in a payroll role in the mining industry (or in a company with complex rostering), strong attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft office suite. Working experience in Pronto and/or Xero will be required
