Your new role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face of the agency - providing frontline support to clients accessing a range of government services. You'll handle enquiries, process transactions, and manage escalations with professionalism and empathy. This part-time role (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) is based in Maroochydore and offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to public service delivery.

  • Responding to customer enquiries across multiple channels
  • Processing QDIs, Companion Cards, and other service requests
  • Managing escalations and sensitive interactions with care
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • Ensuring compliance with service standards and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in face-to-face customer service
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask across systems while engaging with clients
  • High levels of personal resilience and emotional intelligence
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to team success
