Manager – Major Tenants, Partnerships & Projects

Are you a relationship focused professional who excels at building partnerships and delivering results?

Do you thrive at the intersection of tenant engagement, project delivery, and stakeholder management?

About the Role

The Manager – Major Tenants, Partnerships & Projects supports the General Manager in strengthening Region Group's (RGN) relationships with key tenants and protecting RGN's interests. The role combines day-to-day engagement with major tenants, coordination of tenant-related projects, and operational compliance oversight to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Major Tenant Partnerships

  • Act as the primary contact for day-to-day major tenant engagement.
  • Track, resolve, and report on tenant issues, maintaining an up-to-date tenant tracker.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations to support engagement.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, and follow-up actions to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
  • Analyse major tenant performance on a monthly basis, identifying trends and areas of concern.
  • Recommend and support initiatives to enhance tenant performance and strengthen partnerships.

Project Coordination

  • Support the initiation of major tenant projects within centres, engaging with Knight Frank Australia (KFA) before and after approvals to ensure alignment on scope and requirements.
  • Coordinate communication between tenants, KFA, internal teams, and external vendors to support smooth delivery of works.
  • Provide lease-related input to confirm compliance with major tenant agreements.
  • Track progress and other reporting tools, escalating risks and issues where necessary.
  • Ensure tenants receive relevant project notifications in line with lease and compliance requirements.
  • Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure all activities comply with RGN policies, lease obligations, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee contract and job order set-up, ensuring approvals, budgets, and forecasts are accurately tracked.
  • Manage updates to the Tenancy Schedule and issue Major Tenant Notification Forms in line with lease requirements.
  • Coordinate financial administration related to projects, including invoice tracking and budget reporting.
  • Maintain accurate project and tenant records across internal systems, ensuring data integrity and easy access for the wider team.
  • Support continuous improvement by reviewing and streamlining operational systems and procedures.
