The Opportunity

Come join our team as a Casual Administration Assistant at Gympie Health Group in Gympie, Queensland. In this role, you will be an integral part of our dynamic healthcare administration team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our medical and allied health clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, data entry, and filing
  • Provide support to the clinical teams as required - including patient management, billing and receipting.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting is desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
