Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Data Capture Experts Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About Us

At Data Capture Experts (DCE), we are transforming the way healthcare organisations deliver care through our flagship digital health platform, DC2Vue; a modern, modular EHR built for mental health, community, and hospital care environments.

We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst who brings both clinical insight and business analysis expertise to help us deliver world-class digital health solutions.

About the Role

As a Clinical Business Analyst (CBA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between our clients' clinical operations and our product delivery teams.

You'll work directly with clinicians and healthcare leaders to understand workflows, identify configuration requirements, and guide the setup of digital health solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a clinical or health information background who thrives on using technology to improve healthcare delivery and enjoys working closely with clients on transformation initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Engage directly with healthcare clients to gather, analyse and document business and clinical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and document workflows, processes, and system requirements.
  • Identify and document configuration requirements such as workflows, alerts, templates, statutory and operational reports.
  • Translate clinical requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design, validate, and configure the solutions.
  • Review and validate release notes, ensuring changes are fully understood and properly documented before deployment.
  • Perform pre-release quality validation checks to confirm the build meets documented requirements prior to client UAT.
  • Be accountable for release readiness and quality — ensuring every release is tested, documented, and ready for client handover.
  • Produce updated user guides, configuration manuals and training materials for clients.
  • Deliver train-the-trainer sessions and support end-user adoption.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live optimisation.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree/experience in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Informatics, or Health Information Management.
  • 3–7 years' experience in a HealthTech or digital health delivery role (EHR, EMR, or clinical systems).
  • Proven experience working with clients and clinicians to gather requirements and configure digital health platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Australian healthcare workflows, interoperability standards, and terminology sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate between clinical and technical audiences.
  • Experience developing user documentation and delivering training programs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Why Join Us

  • Work with one of Australia's most innovative HealthTech platforms.
  • Be part of a purpose-driven team transforming patient care.
  • Flexible work options (onsite, hybrid, or remote).
  • Career growth across product, implementation, and clinical informatics pathways.
  • Collaborative culture that values ideas, ownership, and professional development.
