Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and insightful
Business Analyst
to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements to ensure that solutions align with business objectives and deliver value. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process improvements, defining project scopes, and helping to drive successful project outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical teams. You will analyze business processes, collect and document requirements, and create functional specifications to guide the development and implementation of solutions. You will also conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and assist in testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Analyzing business processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documenting functional and technical specifications for new systems, applications, or enhancements.
  • Conducting gap analyses and assessing the feasibility of new solutions or enhancements.
  • Preparing detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Supporting project teams in tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications

  • Education
    : A degree in business administration, economics, information systems, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications, such as CBAP or PMI-PBA, are a plus.
  • Analytical Skills
    : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Business Process Knowledge
    : A solid understanding of business processes, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and process modeling techniques.
  • Technical Skills
    : Familiarity with tools for data analysis and documentation (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Visio, JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
  • Communication Skills
    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively document requirements, present findings, and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration
    : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, developers, and project managers.
  • Attention to Detail
    : A high level of attention to detail when documenting requirements and conducting data analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience
    : Previous experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role is desirable but not required. Entry-level candidates with relevant academic experience and strong analytical skills are also welcome.
