APS6 & EL1 Program Managers to Manage the Roll Out of National Aged Care Training Programs in the APS.

This Federal Government is working at the forefront of delivering a high level of policies and programs to the public contributing to their health and well-being. This branch works to develop and deliver programs that aim to increase the number of health care professionals working in the aged care sector from personal care workers, allied health assistants and enrolled nurses. These programs seek to support the sector in attracting, training and retaining new staff.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will be responsible for working in a team to manage Aged Care Grant Rounds. These grant rounds will distribute financial support across the community. Here, you will work to contribute and provide oversight of the assessment processes as well as managing relationships with the stakeholders to to progress individual grant agreements.

- The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and fluid environment to deliver high quality results.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in oral and written communication skills, with ability to prepare a range of documents including, responses to enquiries and correspondence,
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, including managing multiple streams of work.
- Problem-solving skills, including an ability to analyse, interpret and synthesise a range of information.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage process, work autonomously to deliver the functions of the role.
- An understanding or experience with aged care is desirable.
