About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and values-driven Resident Support Supervisor to oversee and coordinate resident support across our three PI communities. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident services, staff supervision, and stakeholder engagement.
The Resident Support Supervisor will work closely with PI staff, residents, families, support coordinators, and external providers to create positive outcomes for people living with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Live-In Resident Coordinators (LIRCs) across PI sites, ensuring a consistent and resident-centred approach.
- Oversee day-to-day resident matters, including repairs and maintenance, wellbeing, vacancy management, rostering and nutrition management and community engagement projects.
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex resident or family issues.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on policy implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, NDIS support coordinators, and external service providers.
- Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of LIRCs and new residents
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of resident and property matters.
About You (selection criteria)
You will bring:
- 5+ years experience in disability services, community housing, social services, or a related sector.
- Strong people leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework and understanding of working with people with intellectual disabilities.
- A resident-first approach with a passion for empowerment and inclusion.
- The ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and empathy.
