We are on the lookout for passionate and talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Supervisor.

Job Description: Restaurant Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional events and marketing strategies
  • Handle cash and financial transactions, including reconciliation of daily sales
  • Communicate directly to the General Manager for updates, address concerns, and foster a positive team environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience in cocktails and wine pairing
  • Proficiency in handling financial transactions and using point-of-sale systems
  • Qualification needs to have an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A passion for customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
