Organisational Design Lead
A NSW Government Organisation in Parramatta is looking for an Organisational Design Lead on an initial 6-month assignment ($800 - $900 per day + super). This role will support Senior Managers in the People and Culture and shared service and payroll teams design and size new org structures, and manage the workforce transition to bring the HR transformation to life.
Key accountabilities
- Work with key stakeholders to evaluate current team structures and define future state org design and people capabilities to deliver services per the new processes delivered by the transformation
- Year 1 and Year 2 org design, and definition of net benefit of proposed changes to be included in program Benefit Realisation Plan
- Document all future state job roles (retained, amended, new) to align with transformation outcomes and new ways of working and future state service design
- Facilitate evaluation process to grade, size and rem benchmark any new roles, and situation in job architecture
- Creation of role mandates for new/amended roles and team mandates for all teams
- Facilitate workforce transition activities for the teams, working in collaboration with senior leaders. This includes consideration for industrial relations impacts and any required consultation
Experience and skills
- Relevant tertiary level qualifications
- 5 years' experience as HR business partner
- Strong experience designing new org structures and job roles
- Experience implementing new org structures
- Working knowledge of Fair Work Act and workplace legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
