As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with people with disabilities, their families, and care-teams, using evidence-based strategies to develop and implement behaviour support plans that seek to improve the person's quality of life.

Provisional psychologists are encouraged to apply

For provisional psychologists, we offer individualised support to meet the competencies for general registration. All supervision is provided in house including primary and secondary supervision. We understand what it takes to support individuals effectively through to full registration.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to positive behaviour support
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and behaviours of concern.
  • Ability to develop behaviour support plans that contain evidence-informed strategies and seek to improve the person's quality of life.
  • Ability to support the knowledge, skills, values, confidence, consistency, and wellbeing of people involved in implementing the plan.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
