Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can provide compassionate care and support to families during difficult times? Newhaven Funerals is seeking empathetic and professional individuals to join our Casual Transfer Staff team based out of Stapylton.

This vital role involves respectfully transferring deceased individuals from various locations (homes, hospitals, care facilities) into our care. It requires both physical capability and a deep understanding of the sensitivity involved in funeral services.

What you'll do:

* Support & Care: Work alongside Funeral Directors to provide compassionate and professional transfer services, offering support and empathy to grieving families.

* Physical Work: Safely and respectfully lift and carry deceased individuals, often involving physically demanding tasks.

* Professionalism: Maintain the highest standards of discretion, respect, and presentation at all times.

* Vehicle Operation: Drive company transfer vehicles responsibly and safely.

What we're looking for:

* Proximity: Must live within 30 minutes of Stapylton to ensure timely responses.

* Physical Capability: Comfortable and capable of performing physical work, including regular lifting and carrying.

* Driving Licence: Hold a current and valid manual driver's licence with a clean driving record.

* Empathy & Professionalism: A natural ability to show compassion, empathy, and maintain professionalism when interacting with grieving families and colleagues.

* Discretion: Understand the importance of confidentiality and respectful conduct.

* Availability: Flexibility to work on an "as needed" casual basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
