Description
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood teacher to join our vibrant team in a fixed term year contract, with potential for permanent. Hurlingham Pre School is expanding in 2026 to a full-day timetable 8:30 - 4pm delivered by an ECT and two Educators. Our 3-year-old group has 23 children, and 4-Year-Old Groups have 27 children. This is an exciting chapter for our kindergarten, and we aim to attract educators engaged in reflective practice, professional development, and committed to enhancing our outstanding reputation. Key responsibilities: Design, implement, and evaluate a holistic curriculum in line with the National Quality Framework with a foundation of a play-based learning environment. Promote and support inclusive practice to ensure that the service can support families from a range of cultures, backgrounds, experiences, and situations. Record observations of individual children and groups, assess learning, and use for program planning. Develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with children, families, early childhood professionals, and regulatory departments, and maintain privacy and confidentiality. Be actively involved in the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan of the organisation. Attend regular staff meetings, within paid time, to facilitate effective communication, internal staff development, and discussion on management and programming for the service. Contribute positively to team collaboration and the overall environment.

Previous experience in a sessional kindergarten environment Up to date First Aid qualifications Valid Working with Children's Check National Police Check A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine love for child development. A strong dedication to creating a Child Safe environment, fully aligned with the eleven Child Safe standards.
