About the Role

As the Educational Leader at The Hive Brighton, you will take a central role in shaping and elevating our curriculum and teaching practices. You'll mentor and guide a team of dedicated educators, inspire innovation, and ensure children's learning is enriched, meaningful, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

You'll have dedicated time each week to lead, plan, and collaborate—with full support from our Centre Director and leadership team.

What You'll Be Doing

· Design and implement innovative and inclusive educational programs for children aged 0-6.

· Inspire, guide, and mentor educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement through reflective practice and coaching.

· Lead curriculum planning sessions and support educators in documentation and assessment.

· Drive the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) with a hands-on, strategic approach.

· Build strong, respectful relationships with families, children, and the community.

· Collaborate across the i9 network of Educational Leaders to share best practices and fresh ideas.

What We're Looking For

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).

· Minimum 2 years' experience in a Room Leader or similar leadership role.

· Full Australian Working Rights.

· Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child development principles.

· Experience with digital platforms like KindyHub is a bonus.

· Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

· Passionate, professional, and ready to lead by example.
