About the Centre/Service
Hurlingham Pre School is a community-managed, Bayside sessional kindergarten dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Located within a large neighborhood park, the recently renovated two-room center holds an Exceeding rating. We offer full-day programs for two groups of 4-year-olds and two groups of 3-year-olds. Our strong connections with the local community and schools, along with a highly engaged management committee and leadership team, support our dedicated education staff in delivering exceptional learning experiences to young children.

Either 27.75 for 3 day program, or 19 for 2 day program or full time across two groups.

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood educators to join our vibrant team
Exciting Opportunities at Hurlingham Pre School include both Cert III or Diploma educators.
Hurlingham Pre School is expanding in 2026 to a full-day timetable 8:30 - 4pm across all four groups, supported by an ECT and two Educators. We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate Qualified Educators with a Cert III or Diploma qualification to join our dedicated team in permanent and fixed term part-time or full - time roles.
Both 3 year old groups have 23 children and 4 Year Old Groups have 27 children.
This is an exciting chapter for our kindergarten, and we aim to attract educators engaged in reflective practice, professional development, and committed to enhancing our outstanding reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and facilitate age-appropriate, play-based educational activities promoting children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, aligned with the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
Observe, monitor, and document children's progress, tailoring practices to meet individual needs and interests.
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that complies with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with families to support each child's wellbeing.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
Contribute positively to team collaboration and the center's overall environment.
Qualifications
ACECQA recognized Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Previous experience in a lively, sessional kindergarten environment – bringing energy and creativity to every day. Up-to-date First Aid qualifications – because safety is our top priority.
