About The Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide coordination and administrative support across project activities, with a strong focus on risk and opportunity management. A key responsibility of the role includes preparing risk submissions and representing the project at monthly Risk Management Boards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and coordinate the project risk and opportunity register.
  • Prepare risk documentation and represent risks at monthly governance forums.
  • Support project governance activities including meetings, reporting, and action tracking.
  • Assist with project scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor milestones and support continuous improvement of project tools and processes.

About You:

  • Experience in project support, including risk coordination and reporting.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities within part-time hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO 31000 and defence Risk management methodologies
  • Experience within Defence, Maritime Domain
  • Qualification in Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
  • PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Experience preparing materials for governance boards or committees
  • Experience within Maritime Sustainment Division and/or within Maritime System Program Offices.
