About You

You might be:

  • A university student studying Finance, Financial Planning, Commerce, or Economics, looking for a role aligned with your degree; or
  • An experienced financial planning assistant / administration background / client services officer (2+ years ideally) seeking part-time work with flexibility and variety.

You'll thrive if you:

  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (comfortable speaking with clients by phone and email)
  • Are organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Enjoy learning and want to build a career within financial planning
  • Are tech-savvy and keen to learn Xplan and other advice software (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Value being part of a small, collaborative team where your contribution is appreciated and visible
What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)
  • Support the adviser in implementing financial advice recommendations
  • Prepare and process investment, superannuation, SMSF and insurance applications
  • Manage client communication and respond to service requests with professionalism and care
  • Liaise with product providers to track progress and ensure accurate documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records and assist with compliance requirements
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and client experience

Hours & Remuneration
  • Part-time hours available (flexible around study or family commitments)
  • Pay based on experience: approximately $30–$40 per hour + superannuation - higher remuneration considered for the right candidate.
  • Annual pay reviews and opportunity to increase hours and responsibilities over time
