Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.
We are inviting applications for a Full-Time Assistant Head of Religious Education role commencing term Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and professional staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to assist in leading the faculty and teach Religious Education and Studies of Religion.
*Saturday sports commitment is not a requirement of the role.
The ideal candidate:
- Tertiary qualified and accredited to teach in NSW. Demonstrated success in teaching Religious Education and Studies of Religion.
- Prepared to support the ethos of a Sacred Heart education and be an active and visible participant in the dynamic life of our school.
- A lifelong learner, with a commitment to lead by example and coach others to do the same.
- Commitment to plan and deliver each lesson to the best of your ability, ensuring that you are implementing effective teaching and learning strategies to keep each student engaged.
- Ability to create and maintain an effective learning environment, where you believe in the importance of and are committed to facilitating both the personal and academic growth of our students.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate assessment practices, use data, and provide constructive feedback, so that all students have individualised learning experiences, challenges, and growth.
- Strong demonstrated competency in building effective working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
